75% of all motorcycle accidents involve another vehicle. 2/3 of the accidents cite the motorcyclist as at fault in the accident report. In multiple-car accidents involving a motorcycle, the car failing to yield to the motorcycle’s right-of-way was as the cause.
If you choose to ride a motorcycle, you need to be aware of the associated risks. Other motorists must respect you like they would any other vehicle, however.
