Another San Diego Drunk Driving Accident Last Week?

If this is true, it would be yet another accident that could have easily been prevented. In a sense, this particular incident is fortuitous in that it did not have a fatal outcome for either of the drivers.

Drunk driving accidents are a serious problem

Nearly nine hundred people were killed by drunk drivers in California last year. This represents a tragic 28.7 percent of all traffic fatalities in the state. It is estimated that as many as 300,000 people drive drunk in American each day.

Drunk driving robs people of their loved ones, and provides anxiety and fear for everyone on the road. Hopefully, you will never have to be in drunk driving accident, but if you ever are, it helps to know what to do.

Do not talk with the insurance company of the drunk driver until you have done so, as they may try to get you to admit some blame for the accident.   • Make sure you have a copy of the accident report: Get a copy of the accident report from the police, and correct information inside that you believe might be incorrect. This will ensure the facts are accurately represented in the report.

Only time will tell if this recent accident was another case of drunk driving, but the core message remains the same.
