Toddler Fatally Struck in San Diego Car Accident

On November 20, a fatal accident occurred in San Diego in the 4400-block of Wilson Avenue in the Normal Heights neighborhood, when a toddler crept out of a house functioning as a day care and into the street. The caretakers in the house were unaware of the toddler’s disappearance at the time. The 22-year-old daughter of one of the caretakers came over for a visit and, upon leaving, ran over the 16-month-old toddler. The driver left, unaware of the collision, and continued towards home until police stopped her near Fairmount Avenue and Home Avenue where police inspected her car. The caretakers inside were equally ignorant of the toddler’s disappearance. The toddler’s aunt, a 10-year-old girl, discovered his body in the driveway. One Killed, Car Split in Half in Oceanside Car Accident

According to NBC 7 in San Diego, a November 13 car accident left one person dead, three others injured and a car split in half. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Oceanside Boulevard near the Avenida Del Oro intersection, according to U-T San Diego. “An Acura Integra was headed eastbound on Oceanside Boulevard when the car veered into the center concrete median and struck the tree,” police Sgt. Gabe Jimenez told U-T San Diego. The force of the collision with the tree split the Acura in two and ejected the vehicle’s lone passenger, a woman, into the westbound lanes of Oceanside Boulevard. After splitting in two, half of the Acura made its way back onto Oceanside Boulevard where it collided with a westbound Nissan Sentra. The woman who was ejected from the Acura died at the scene. Driver Crashes Fleeing Pacific Beach Pedestrian Accident

NBC 7 in San Diego is reporting that a driver was arrested for allegedly causing both a car and pedestrian accident within moments of each other. According to reports, the driver had the car accident after fleeing the scene of the pedestrian accident. The first accident happened around 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Garnet Avenue and Everts Street, according to Fox 5 in San Diego. While a 25-year-old woman was driving a Nissan Pathfinder through the intersection, she struck a 25-year-old man. “The man sustained a fractured foot, for which he was taken to a local hospital,” San Diego police officer David Stafford told Fox 5. “The woman drove on after striking the pedestrian, but was followed by a witness as she drove several blocks at a high rate of speed while running stop signs.” After she left the first accident scene, the woman struck a car with her…
