According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) there were 380,000 truck accidents in the United States in 2008 alone. 71 percent of those killed in these accidents were occupants of other vehicles. Trucks have bigger blind spots and longer stopping distances—always exercise caution when driving around semi trucks.

Approximately 75 percent of motorcycle accidents involve another vehicle. Operator error is the cause of 2/3 of all motorcycle accidents. So even experienced riders must always be prepared, wear a helmet and follow all traffic laws.
