When Should I Apply Heat to a Cycling Injury?

Posted on March 6, 2017 by bonnicilawgroup

Most people put ice on an injury immediately after suffering it. This isn’t always the best option, however. Sometimes, taking the opposite route and applying heat is better for alleviating your pain. Heat is generally best for older injuries of six weeks or longer. Here are the specific times you should apply heat to a cycling injury and why it helps. When to Apply Heat to a Cycling Injury Chronic soreness – Pain that lingers, such as lower back pain, generally accompanies continually tense muscles. Warm showers or heat pads helps to relax these tight muscles, helping blood to flow more freely through the affected area. Increased blood flow delivers more nutrients, the most important for treating cycling-induced injuries being oxygen. Arthritis – If you know your pain is likely due to your already diagnosed arthritis flaring up, wrapping the sore area with a hot towel after your bike ride…

How Much Money Could I Get in a Personal Injury Lawsuit?

Posted on May 9, 2016 by bonnicilawgroup

In a personal injury lawsuit, you may be able to get money from the person or entity responsible in the form of court ordered awards. Depending on the circumstances of the accident, the physical and emotional trauma inflicted, and the severity of the negligence involved, you may be awarded compensatory damages, and possibly even punitive damages. What Are Compensatory Damages? Compensatory damages are generally awarded to make up for losses. The purpose of these awards is to make a person “whole” again. Posted on November 25, 2013 by bonnicilawgroup

According to NBC 7 in San Diego, a November 13 car accident left one person dead, three others injured and a car split in half. The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Oceanside Boulevard near the Avenida Del Oro intersection, according to U-T San Diego. “An Acura Integra was headed eastbound on Oceanside Boulevard when the car veered into the center concrete median and struck the tree,” police Sgt. Gabe Jimenez told U-T San Diego. The force of the collision with the tree split the Acura in two and ejected the vehicle’s lone passenger, a woman, into the westbound lanes of Oceanside Boulevard. After splitting in two, half of the Acura made its way back onto Oceanside Boulevard where it collided with a westbound Nissan Sentra. The woman who was ejected from the Acura died at the scene. The driver of the Acura, a man in…

      What our clients are saying

“I had a great experience. I was out from work on disability for almost a year after my accident. The process of battling the insurance companies would have been so overwhelming for me with doctor’s appointments and therapy. Josh streamlined the process and made everything so easy. I don’t think I could have handled this on my own.”
