A 20-year-old woman died in a car accident on the evening of December 24, according to UT-San Diego. Tina Kohr was riding with three other people in a Toyota Camry on Interstate 15 when the driver lost control and ran off the highway and flipped over. The driver, identified as a 16-year-old female, told California Highway Patrol Officers she was driving 65 mph when she ran off the road. Her car veered left on a transition road and struck a guardrail, causing the car to flip several times. Kohr was ejected from the vehicle and died from blunt force trauma to her head. Another sedan struck the Camry after it came to a rest. The driver and another passenger, a 26-year-old male, were transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
