This July, the 12th annual Cycling for Sight event will begin in San Diego. Our own Frederick M. Dudek, along with his friends in the Blind Stokers Club, and many others, will participate in the two-day event.
What Is Cycling for Sight?
Cycling for Sight is a fundraising campaign aimed at helping blind and visually impaired riders enjoy the fun and excitement of cycling and the numerous benefits it offers. Blind and visually impaired riders are able to do this through a unique partnership model. The Cycling for sight event marks the culmination of a year-long training program run by the Blind Stokers Club.
Proceeds raised during the event go directly to the San Diego Center for the Blind and the Blind Stokers Club, which provides them with the means to continue brightening the lives of blind and visually impaired riders throughout the San Diego area.
We want to encourage you to take part in this year’s event. Your donations, which are tax-deductible, are greatly appreciated by all of us at Dudek Law Firm, as well as hundreds of our blind and visually impaired neighbors.
Your donation will go towards providing blind and visually impaired people with the means to lead better lives. The San Diego Center for the Blind provides countless people with career skills, help with job placement, group counseling, daily living skills, and so much more. The event offers a range of activities and routes for cyclists of any skill level. For more information about all the fun you could be having July 16th and 17th, check out the Cycling for Sight page here.
Frederick M. Dudek loves riding his bike every chance he gets, and regularly cycles to work. He knows the hardships cyclists endure every day and understands what is lost in a bicycle accident.
