A motorcycle accident in Linda Wista on June 3 has left a man injured in the hospital after he was struck by a car. According to SignOnSanDiego.com the car accident occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Linda Vista Road near the Ulric Street intersection.
The names of the two men involved in the car accident have not yet been released by officials. The motorcyclist was identified as a 39-year-old man and the driver of the Nissan Versa that was involved in the car accident is 50, according to reports. The driver of the Nissan was pulling out of a parking lot on to Linda Vista Road and made an unsafe lane change, causing the motorcyclist to slam on his brakes to stop short. This caused the motorcyclist to flip over the handle bars and slam into the Nissan.
According to San Diego Police Officer Frank Cali, the motorcyclist was treated at the hospital for a leg and wrist injury and the other motorist involved was uninjured.
