A 40-year-old woman was the victim of a hit-and-run accident in Linda Vista on August 29 that left her with serious injuries, according to CBS 8 in San Diego. The woman had to be taken to a local trauma center by paramedics for further treatment. Her injuries are serious but not life threatening, according to the police. The accident occurred around 8 p.m. on the 7200 block of Linda Vista Road. The woman was walking along the east sidewalk of the road when she was struck. “She was hit by a light-colored pickup truck that went up on the sidewalk after making a U-turn in the roadway,” said San Diego police Sgt.
