Researchers at UCLA are cautiously optimistic about recent studies that are attempting to determine if doctors can minimize the risk of complications for traumatic brain injury (TBI) victims, according to the technology news publication VR-Zone. Scientists hope that by analyzing massive amounts of data, an advanced IBM-developed computer system will guide doctors and physicians with preventative care. The computer will analyze data such as pulse, heart rate activity and respiration.
