School Principal Killed in Bus Accident Called a Hero

An elementary school principal was recently killed in a bus accident, but is being called a hero. When an approaching school bus jumped the curb and accelerated, the victim managed to push several young students to safety before she was struck and killed. Two students were also hit by the bus, and were transported to the hospital in serious, but not life-threatening, condition. Luckily, none of the 25 young passengers on the bus or the driver suffered injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the tragic bus accident, but have so far not reported any explanation. They did say that the bus involved only recently passed an inspection, less than a month prior to the accident. Local Soccer Player Killed in Pedestrian Accident

A local soccer star was recently killed in a tragic pedestrian accident. Witnesses say the victim, who was a new signing with the San Diego Sockers, was attempting to cross Interstate 5 from the right shoulder lane to a median when he was fatally struck by a car. Stop Cyclist Blaming and Make Streets Safer for Everyone

Unfortunately, our nation is committed to blaming cyclists for their own deaths. San Francisco police were quick to do so after a 47-year-old veteran cyclist was killed in a bike accident after a collision with a bus. According to the police, the victim had been riding in the lane and attempted to pass the slow moving bus when his wheel got stuck in a Muni track, causing him to lose control and be thrown into the path of the bus.
