Body of Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident Identified

Authorities released the identity of a 27-year-old San Diego man killed in a motorcycle crash on March 10, according to 10News.com in San Diego. A postal worker discovered Cezario Elias Tebcherani’s body on the side of the rode next to his motorcycle off Route 163 in Kearny Mesa, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officers believe the accident occurred between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. the morning the postal worker discovered the body. It appears Tebcherani lost control of his 1989 Honda motorcycle around a curve and hit a guardrail, bounced off while remaining on the bike, eventually striking another guardrail and falling off the bike.

Tebcherani was not responsive when the postal worker discovered his body and called 911. Officials pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office. While we may never know exactly what caused him to lose control, it was quite possible due to excessive speed around a curve. All bikers need to exercise caution—slow down around curves, especially if you are unfamiliar with the road. This is a tragic reminder of how small the margin for error can be on a motorcycle.
