Two Killed, One Injured In San Diego Truck Accident

Two people died in a tragic truck accident after a FedEx truck slammed into a car on Interstate 805 on October 31, according to NBCSanDiego.com. The two restaurant workers in the car died instantly, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The reports indicate that a black Honda Civic lost control on the highway and spun into other lanes before the truck hit the Civic. 56-year-old Thoy Insixiengmay and 59-year-old Tem Thirakul died in the crash. A third woman riding in the car received treatment at Sharp Memorial Hospital.  Officials have not yet reached a conclusion as to the cause of the accident.

“The car spun directly into the path of the big rig,” said California Highway Patrol Officer Marc Hale.
