San Diego Car Accident Attorney Takes a Closer Look at Bizarre Incident

A couple in California was fortunate to escape unharmed from a bizarre accident in Glendale in which their car ended up on their neighbor’s roof, according to the New York Daily News. Robert Wynn lost control of his car as he and his wife, Galina, were traveling down a steep road in their neighborhood on the evening on March 23. The car became airborne and landed on a neighbor’s roof. “As soon as we hit the corner, the airbags deployed and I didn’t even see where we were going from there because the view was obscured,” Galina told reports from KABC-TV. “I consider myself and my husband to be very, very lucky.” The fire department had to use a ladder to rescue the couple. “We have lots of hillsides here in Glendale,” said Glendale Police Lieutenant Scott Bickle. “But this was very unique that it landed the way it did…

Two Killed in Accident at California Racetrack

Investigators in Yuba County are investigating a car accident at a Petaluma Speedway that killed two people, according to KFMB-TV. Chase Johnson, 17, lost control of his car on a dirt track and slid into a pit row on March 16, according to Yuba County Undersheriff Jerry Read. The car slid into the car’s owner, 68-year-old Dale Wondergem, and the driver’s 14-year-old cousin, Marcus Johnson. Both men were pronounced dead on the scene. The sheriff’s department is looking into cause of the accident. Some witnesses reported that the car’s detachable steering wheel came off just before Johnson lost control while taking warm-up laps around the track. “It’s shaping up to look like a mechanical failure, but there’s still work to be done,” Read said. San Diego Wrongful Death Attorney Questions What Makes Highway Stretch Prone to Accidents

One man died and a San Diego teenager was critically injured in a car accident on March 18, according to KSWB-TV. Matthew Leonardo, 30, was driving his Ford Escort on the wrong side of State Route 52 at approximately 9:30 p.m. and collided with a minivan traveling in the opposite direction. Will Cunningham was driving the minivan, and his wife and three daughters were passengers. Leonardo was pronounced dead at the scene and the family riding in the minivan was rushed to the hospital. Cunningham is the head basketball coach at Cathedral Catholic High School. One of his daughters, Taylor, was in critical condition following the collision. Taylor was selected as San Diego’s Outstanding Teen in the 2013 Miss San Diego Pageant. Cathedral Catholic held a mass on March 19 for the Cunningham family.
