Man And Son Tragically Killed In Separate Car Accidents On Same Road On Same Day

A San Diego man was still grieving the death of his son in a tragic car accident when he was involved in a separate accident, according to the NY Daily News.  16-year-old Devon Sambhi died on the morning of November 11th while riding as a passenger in a truck with his mother, Natalia Sambhi, when she lost control and the truck overturned. Later that same day, Devon’s father, Sumil Sambhi was driving down the same exact road—Interstate 8—when he was also involved in a car accident. He veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another car. Citizens Call For Traffic Light At Dangerous Intersection

Citizens in Covina, California are calling for officials to set up a traffic light at the spot where two people were injured in a car accident on November 8, according to SGVTribune.com. Dozens of people gathered with signs and candles on the night of the accident at the crosswalk where the accident occurred. Two 14-year-old twin girls—Leilani and Luana Fukui–were struck at the crosswalk and remain hospitalized, in critical condition and on life support. Man Critically Injured In SoCal Motorcycle Accident

A California man is in critical condition following a motorcycle accident on November 8, according to SignOnSanDiego.com.  The victim, 37-year-old Benito Ramirez, was injured after his motorcycle hit the back of a pickup truck, according to California Highway Patrol reports. The accident occurred on Monte Vista Drive in North County, an unincorporated part of Vista.  Armando Gomez, 32, stopped his 2000 Dodge Ram pickup truck behind a vehicle turning onto a private drive. Ramirez was traveling approximately 40 mph when his motorcycle collided with the truck, according to Officer Chris Parent of the CHP. Ramirez flew off his bike. Paramedics took him to Palomar Medical Center with major injuries. All drivers, including motorcyclists, must take caution on the roadway and remain aware of their surroundings.
