      Man And Son Tragically Killed In Separate Car Accidents On Same Road On Same Day

      A San Diego man was still grieving the death of his son in a tragic car accident when he was involved in a separate accident, according to the NY Daily News.  16-year-old Devon Sambhi died on the morning of November 11th while riding as a passenger in a truck with his mother, Natalia Sambhi, when she lost control and the truck overturned. Later that same day, Devon’s father, Sumil Sambhi was driving down the same exact road—Interstate 8—when he was also involved in a car accident. He veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another car. Paramedics rushed Sumil to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 911 calls and reports indicate that Sumil was extremely distraught over the death of his son and was driving erratically. “All of Alpine has heavy hearts tonight—what a horrible tragedy for this family,” read a statement on the Alpine Community Network. “God…

      Man Killed, Woman Injured In Motorcycle Accident

      A California man died in a motorcycle accident near Sacramento on November 2, according to the Calaveras Enterprise.  The victim, 55-year-old Richard Arnold Crosse, was riding on Highway 26 when Becky Lee Foster, 47, drifted left of center and struck Crosse on his Harley Davidson. Foster told the California Highway Patrol officers she lost control of her car after she took her eyes off the road to look down at her speedometer.  She then overcorrected and swerved into the motorcycle.  A passenger in the Jeep, Adelle Cross, 83, was severely injured and taken to Kaiser Permanente Medical Center.  Foster suffered minor injuries, and Crosse was dead at the scene. Motorcyclists are much more vulnerable than other motorists.  Drivers must be cautious, never take their attention off the road and always be aware of what vehicles are around them on the road.       Two Killed, One Injured In San Diego Truck Accident

      Two people died in a tragic truck accident after a FedEx truck slammed into a car on Interstate 805 on October 31, according to NBCSanDiego.com. The two restaurant workers in the car died instantly, according to the California Highway Patrol. The reports indicate that a black Honda Civic lost control on the highway and spun into other lanes before the truck hit the Civic. 56-year-old Thoy Insixiengmay and 59-year-old Tem Thirakul died in the crash. A third woman riding in the car received treatment at Sharp Memorial Hospital.  Officials have not yet reached a conclusion as to the cause of the accident. “The car spun directly into the path of the big rig,” said California Highway Patrol Officer Marc Hale.
