San Diego Wrongful Death Lawyer Reports Fatal Helicopter Crash

Three people died in a helicopter crash in a rural area of Los Angeles County just before dawn on February 11. The helicopter was carrying two passengers and a pilot and was being used in production for a television show called United Military Project for the Discovery Channel, according to a permit filed with Film L.A. Inc. The helicopter was contracted from a company called Crossbow Helicopters that received approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to fly for the show’s production. The show was described as a “reality show.” “We can confirm that a helicopter crash occurred this morning while shooting a new series for a cable network, which resulted tragically in three fatalities,” read a statement from Eyeworks USA, one of the production companies working on the show. “We are cooperating fully with the authorities. San Diego Injury Attorney Looks at Intersection Collision

Police in San Diego suspect a drunk driver is at fault for a 4-car accident on February 16, according to Fox News. Paramedics rushed four people to the hospital, including one with a serious head injury, according to San Diego Police. The  driver of a Nissan Titan, identified as a 26-year-old, ran a red light at the intersection of Mission Bay Drive and Garnett Avenue at approximately 9:45 a.m. and collided with a Honda Accord and a Volvo, according to San Diego Police Officer Frank Cali. The Honda was thrown across the median where it collided with a minivan. The driver of the Honda, a 66-year-old male, suffered a traumatic head injury and was hospitalized in critical condition. San Diego Personal Injury Attorney Weighs In On Cable Car Accident

Seven people were injured in a San Francisco cable car accident on February 7, according to U-T San Diego. Authorities reported that an alarm failed to sound before one of the cars hit a bolt and jolted to an abrupt stop, launching the passengers and injuring seven of them. Five of the injured passengers were rushed to the hospital, including an elderly man with life-threatening injuries. San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) representative Paul Rose told reporters that the alarm, which sounds to alert passengers the car is stopping, failed to sound after a bolt became loose from a street surface plate that was lodged in the tracks. The bolt fell into the channel containing the cable pulling the car. The SFMTA announced plans to conduct regular inspections for all of the bolts on panels along the world-famous cable car route.
