Man Survives For 6 Days By Eating Bugs After Car Accident

A California man was rescued after he was trapped down on the side of a mountain for 5 or 6 days following a car accident.  David Lavau, 67, was riding in the car with one passenger when it went off the road on Lake Hughes Road just north of Castaic. Dog Bites In San Diego Continue To Increase

Injuries resulting from a dog bite seem to be on the rise in San Diego, according to U.S. Politics Today, citing a study in the area.  The San Diego County Department of Animal Services reported a 10 percent increase in dog bites since last year. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the Department of Animal Services received nearly 2,700 reports of dog attacks last year—which is an average of seven bites per day.  The number of incidents increased for the fourth year in a row. Woman Arrested For DWI After 6 Children Injured In Accident

According to the Los Angeles Times, police have charged a woman with driving while intoxicated after she injured herself and six children in a car accident in her SUV.   31-year-old Stanesha Allen was driving a 2002 Toyota Sequoia on Avenue I at 5:15 a.m. when she lost control, according to the California Highway Patrol.
