An October 14 accident between a minivan and a bus left a mother and her three children seriously injured, according to NBC 7 in San Diego. The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m. in Chula Vista, California at the intersection of East Palomar Street and La Media Road. Fox 5 in San Diego reported that the impact of the crash caused the Mazda MPV minivan to rollover. The rollover ended with the van off the roadway on its side. Inside the van was a mother and her three children—ages 1, 4 and 11. They had to be removed from the van by the dozen or so first responders who had rushed to the accident site.
